      In this post I am going to introduce a spreadsheet formula to convert rupee amount in indian rupees to words which is working in commonly used spreadsheets like MS Excel,  Google Sheets and Libreoffice Calc etc. It is a single cell formula created by me myself. The formula is much more lengthy, but it works. The cell reference should be B3 . The cell number format should be changed to 'plain text'.
